Though the show had a rough launch in Season 1, Space Force has made a massive comeback with Season 2, which has gotten a whopping 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. To commemorate this achievement and the show's return to television, here's the list of the 10 Funniest Moments From Season 2 of Space Force.

WARNING: 🚨SPOILERS🚨 AHEAD!!!

10. Tony's Phone Withdrawal

While Mark and his team are put on trial, they are all forced to give up their smartphones, and Tony has trouble coping. Like a drug addict desperate to get his next hit, Tony tries to use multiple excuses to check his phone. He eventually starts freaking out, and Mallory has to slap some sense into him. In the end, everyone gets their phones back and immediately starts using them, but Tony just puts his away. But just when you think he learned something, he says that his battery was dead.

9. Alien Autopsy

To get back at his coworkers for their pranking spree, Mark pranks them by tricking them into walking into a fake alien autopsy. Since the cast spent the whole day thinking of ways to kill alien life forms, it makes sense that Mark decided to pull a stunt like this. And the fact that Mark joined in all their fun shows that sometimes you have to be the boss of pulling pranks.

8. Mallory Gets Mad

Mallory is probably the best character in the entire show, and it's all thanks to the performance of John Malkovich. He can quickly go from being the calm savant to a shouting rage machine with little to no effort. One example is when Mark tells him that his Mars project has to be cut, and he takes his anger out on a car door. It's always funny to see Mallory lose his cool like this, and you have to wonder if there's any more rage he's got bottled up inside.

7. The End?

The season wraps up with both Chan and Ali choosing to stay at Space Force, Erin staying close to home, and the team preventing the loss of one of their satellites. But just when everything seems all right, Chan sees a huge asteroid hurtling toward Earth. In response, everyone freaks out and starts singing the lyrics to "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys (just as Mark did in the show's pilot). It's a hilarious but harrowing way to end the second season, and it's one that pretty much cemented "Kokomo" as the theme song for the entire show.

6. Divorce Announcment

At the end of the office's prank day, Mark gets a handful of divorce documents from his wife. Thinking this is another trick, he calls out the entire Space Force on the PA speaker to make fun of them. However, once Mark realizes the truth, he breaks down crying, and the whole base can still hear him. It's one of those funny and cringey moments that you would've seen Steve Carell have on The Office, and that's why you gotta love this moment.

5. Office Pranks

When Space Force is tasked with making a pointless PowerPoint presentation, most of the workers goof off by pulling pranks on each other. The cast pulls off some classic tricks like the fake spider in the bathroom and the exploding soda bottle. But the funniest has to come from Mallory's prank in the beginning. This showed Space Force displaying their prowess as a workplace comedy with these office antics, making it more like the show it was meant to be.

4. Food Porn

When Captain Lancaster calls Erin while he's in space, the lonely astronaut starts a conversation with her that immediately turns weird. He asks her to order a bunch of cafeteria food to help remind him of the things about Earth he missed so much. He has her open a soda can into the microphone, describe the taste of a slice of pizza, and wave a tree branch around. Yes, it's bizarre, but it becomes pretty touching when we learn from Lancaster just how much Erin has helped him.

3. VR Meeting

When Chan and Mallory are doing a video interview with SpaceX, they put on virtual reality gear to put in their electronic signature. But while Chan is having the time of his life with this VR tech, Mallory is so overwhelmed by it he throws up in a trash bin without even knowing where his vomit went. So yeah, Mallory didn't get the job.

2. Kidney Stone Surgery

When Mark gets a kidney stone, he tries to ignore it and get through his day. But, of course, this doesn't work, and a doctor ends up fishing through his junk, and Brad accidentally livestreams the procedure to Mark's colleagues, who get a good look at the inside of the General's nether regions. This moment might've been a little too graphic for some viewers, but everyone's reactions to the whole thing make this scene fun to watch.

1. Naird Gets Drunk

In an attempt to score a reasonable deal with General Gao, Mark joins him for a whole bunch of shots. Though Mark manages to win the bargain, he still gets wasted and has to be taken home by Erin. His drunken ramblings are hilariously entertaining, and the way Mark pulls over to throw up and gets back up again is hysterical. He sure handled his drinks better than Gao, though.
