These shows may be better than the original.
With the resurgence of tons of television shows now coming back as reboots due to streaming platforms needing new content. Plenty of shows have simply, done it wrong.

But we are not here for the mess today. Here is a list of 11 reboots that did what they were supposed to do.
1. Saved By The Bell

Bayside High is still the same Bayside High. This perfectly teases the old-school "statuses" of the first one while being original. Peacock is killing making this show feel special and definitely one of the best reboots on the list.
2. The Wonder Years
ABC / Via giphy.com
This Saladin K. Patterson reboot deserves all the flowers. Don Cheadle as the narrator is immaculate and the show feel is very similar to the original with great acting all around.
3. BattleStar Galaxia

This was the one! I know Peacock intends on placing a new reboot of the show (well, it's the reboot of the reboot) but the 2003 reboot, which focused on the survivors of the Cylon genocide of the 12 Colonies on the Galactica, was pretty great in its own right.
4. Bel-Air

Bel-Air is a more dramatic version of the original but has added elements to keep it very entertaining. Actors Coco Jones and Jabari Banks portraying Hilary Banks and Will Smith respectively is fun to watch.
5. 90210

Horrendous Putin poems aside, this is an excellent reboot! The "Adrianna" character alone is worth binging it alone. The show's nostalgic feel makes it better as a limited series.
6. The Twilight Zone
Gregg Deguire / FilmMagic
Two words: Jordan Peele. The show had a hard time getting past the critics' love of the original, which is fair, but he had a great attempt himself. This series was strong on touching social issues while having the strong horror associated with the original. It's a good reboot and worth the rewatch.
7. Ducktales

2017 reboot of Ducktales consists of 75 episodes and did a very good job re-imaging the series. Scrooge McDuck and his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie were played by wonder voice actors and it's a shame it canceled. Also, The Theme song ruled.
8. iCarly

Honestly, this might be the best one on this list. One of the main reasons why is because this show aged so gracefully. The show came back with each character grown so much and each one is in careers that fit them perfectly. They tackle real issues and even with the departure of co-star Jeanette McCurdy (aka Sam) it still makes sense.
9. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is one that is slowly growing on me. The show kept the same sense of humor and satire like the original. The show makes it apparent that they are not relying on the things they've done in the early 2000s and definitely worth getting Disney Plus for.
10. One Day At a Time
Netflix / Via giphy.com
One thing I love about a reboot is when it makes itself relatable to the times. This one did just that as Netflix wonderfully tackled cultural issues wonderfully while the characters contained a certain charm and comedic timing that most shows with heavy topics don't have.
11. Gossip Girl

Non-show related, but I must say the marketing behind the announcement and release of this reboot beat all the others by a mile. Now I honestly don't think this is the best reboot on this list, but it's worth the stream for you to check it out yourself. This cast looks great and has the potential to come somewhat close to the original but will take time for sure.
