Everybody hates how fast time flies!

Comedian Chris Rock's memories of his childhood in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, inspired him to co-create the hilarious series, Everybody Hates Chris, with director and writer Ali LeRoi in 2005.

Cast members Tyler James Williams, Terry Crews, Imani Hakim, Tequan Richmond, and Tichina Arnold delivered in their roles as members of the Rock family while Chris Rock narrated the series.

Now, here's a look at what the talented cast of Everybody Hates Chris has been up to since the show ended in 2009:

Tyler James Williams then:

Tyler played the lead role of a young Chris Rock, who was lovable but often found himself in situations where he was not exactly favored by those around him. (Hence, the title of the series.)

Tyler has continued his successful acting career following the show. He played Lionel in the film Dear White People, portrayed Russ in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and starred opposite Sarah Hyland in The Wedding Year. His most recent role is Gregory, a substitute teacher on the ABC comedy Abbott Elementary. So, he has officially gone from playing a young student in Everybody Hates Chris to now being mature enough to portray a schoolteacher. The timeline adds up, but my mind still can't fully process this fact.

Terry Crews then:

Terry played Julius, Chris' hardworking, pragmatic father who had two jobs and was devoted to saving the family's money.

Terry has acted in numerous well-known projects over the years, including Brooklyn Nine-Nine, in which he played the character Terry from 2013 to 2021. He's also taken on hosting roles for the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire reboot and America's Got Talent. In 2022, he'll be hosting America's Got Talent: Extreme.

Tichina Arnold then:

Along with appearances in other films and TV shows, Tichina has starred in the series Happily Divorced and Survivor's Remorse since Everybody Hates Chris. She plays Tina in her most recent series, The Neighborhood, which was just renewed for a fifth season.

Tequan Richmond then:

Tequan played Chris' younger brother, Drew, who appeared older than Chris and was usually favored by their peers.

Tequan played T.J. in General Hospital from 2012 to 2018 and starred in Boomerang for its two-season run. In 2021, he and his partner, Tetona Jackson, welcomed a baby girl, Harlie Giselle Richmond.

Imani Hakim then:

Imani played Tonya, Chris' little sister. Fun fact: Imani's audition for Tonya was the first audition she ever went on for a pilot.

Imani starred in The Gabby Douglas Story in 2014, and more recently acted in Dinner Party, a 2021 drama film. She also played Dana in the Apple TV+ comedy series, Mythic Quest. Her next venture listed on IMDB is a thriller movie called 40.

Vincent Martella then:

Vincent played the role of Greg, Chris' closest friend who was always the first one to tell Chris he was "so in there" if he got close to achieving popularity.

One of Vincent's most notable roles since Everybody Hates Chris is voicing Phineas in the Disney animated series, Phineas and Ferb. He also appeared in The Walking Dead and played Bradley in the miniseries, Milo Murphy's Law. In addition to acting, he now posts videos for fans requested through Cameo.
