What it's about: The comedy series follows four horror-loving friends as they build a whole business on creating horror movie scenarios in real life. Whether that's faking an exorcism to make a priest look good, or dressing up as aliens to help out a UFO researcher, there are few things Los Espookys can't handle.

2. Alta Mar (High Seas) (2019–2020)

What it's about: Set in the 1940s, this series follows two sisters named Eva and Carolina Villanueva who investigate the mysterious murder of a woman on board a cruise liner that is traveling from Spain to Brazil. As they investigate, they uncover way more than they bargained for.

What it's about: The series is told in both Spanish and English and follows Máximo Gallardo, who gets his dream job as a cabana boy at a resort in Acapulco. He soon realizes he's in over his head and must juggle his personal problems, difficult customers, a moody mentor, and not lose his head in the process.

What it's about: This biographical limited series tells the real-life story of Spain's most beloved and fabulous trans icon of the '90s Cristina Ortiz Rodríguez, also known as La Veneno. In the show, she is played by three different incredible actors (Jedet, Daniela Santiago, and Isabel Torres) at varying stages of Cristina's life — with each one forming one cohesive image of who Cristina was as a person and how she came to be the phenom Spain knew and loved.

What it's about: The dark comedy series follows the very wealthy de la Mora family in Mexico City. What it's about: The series follows four young women known as "The Cable Girls" in 1920s Spain as they begin working at The National Telephone Company. Not only do they face the many challenges that come from working in a male-dominated field, but they must also navigate their own personal lives as well as face their motivations in taking this job to begin with.
