3. How does Irving's outie know about the testing floor?

Throughout the season we see Irving (John Turturro) have hallucinations about black goo falling from the ceiling. Turns out, the goo is actually black paint, because his outie is obsessed with painting THE ELEVATOR TO THE TESTING FLOOR! How does he know about it? Has he been there before? Also how does he have a list of other severed workers? And most importantly, will he and Burt ever get to kiss?
