"This is one of the worst apps I've ever seen."
I'm sure a lot of us have watched Friends and wished we could be one of the six main characters.

Well, a recently viral Instagram filter allowed fans to transform their faces into their favorite Friends characters — and Monica Gellar herself decided to join in on the fun.

Courteney Cox started out hopeful, but no one told her the filter was gonna be this way...
The first face she tested was Ross Gellar.
For reference, this is what Ross actually looks like.

And here's a terrifying interpretation of Courteney as Ross.

(Please excuse my awful Photoshop skills. I know they're almost as bad as the filter itself.)
Next, she tried on Joey Tribbiani's face.

Next, she tried on Monica's face — or maybe Rachel's (she wasn't sure).

Next, she tried on another confusing Monica/Rachel face, but she determined it was Rachel because "[Monica's] eyebrows are a little different."
Again, here's Rachel.

Then, Courteney transformed into her onscreen husband, Chandler Bing.

Finally, she tried on the filter's Phoebe Buffay face.

Trying on the second Rachel/Monica face one more time, she joked that it couldn't be Jennifer Aniston because she has "a gorgeous mouth."
Well, I think it's safe to say that Courteney Cox makes the perfect Monica Gellar without a creepy Instagram filter!
