The cast of live-action version of The Little Mermaid was announced a while ago, but it turns out there's still some confusion...
Back in 2019, it was revealed that singer and actor Halle Bailey would be taking on the lead role in the live-action flick.

But Halle's name happens to look a lot like Halle Berry — and some fans thought it was actually the Oscar winner who would be in the film.

While the duo have cleared up the mistake on several occasions, it turns out people are still confused...two years later.
A fan recently sent a message to Halle Berry, tweeting that they were excited to see her "under da sea."
Halle Berry knew she had to step in and respond — but did it in a very sweet way.

"… wrong Halle lol. I can’t wait to see her too though!" Halle tweeted.
This isn't the first time Halle has praised Halle Bailey though! When the casting was announced, Halle sent a congratulatory message.

And while we're all definitely excited to see The Little Mermaid, we'll have to wait a little longer until it hits theaters on May 26, 2023.
