Here Are The All The New Characters Cast In "Bridgerton" Season Two

Get ready to fall in love with the new additions.

If you watched Bridgerton's first season, you know the show was filled with lots of drama, incredible outfits, and amazing characters. Thankfully for us, Season 2 is quickly approaching — with lots of new, exciting characters for us to love.

With Bridgerton Season 2 coming arriving soon, here are all the new characters to keep an eye out for:

1. Kate Sharma

Kate is the step-daughter of Lady Mary Sheffield Sharma and also the main character of the season. She and her family came to London because they wanted to find a good match for her sister, Edwina.

However, things take a turn when she and Anthony (to whom her sister is engaged) start to have feelings for each other. Kate is very headstrong and has the best interests of her family at heart, but ends up involved in lots of drama throughout the season.

2. Edwina Sharma

She is the step-sister of Kate and daughter of Lady Mary. Edwina is the one who came to London to find a match, as per her sister's wishes. She ends up falling and getting engaged to Anthony Bridgerton — until things take a turn.

3. Lady Mary Sheffield Sharma

She was high in London society until she married a clerk who already had one child (Kate's father). Before marrying him, her parents (Lord and Lady Sheffield) made her choose between her family and her heart. She ends up choosing her heart and gets abandoned by her parents.

After her husband died, she worries for her daughters and their future, which is why they decide to come to London. We see in the end that she stands up for her daughters and is always set on doing what she feels is best.

4. Lord and Lady Sheffield

The parents of Lady Mary Sheffield Sharma who abandoned her after her marriage choice. Kate arranges with them to give the Sharma's a lot of money if Edwina marries someone whom they consider good. In the past, they exiled Mary due to her decision to marry her husband. Within the season, we see how they both harbor a grudge over their daughter's decision. Ultimately, they expose Kate's plan at the dinner with the Bridgertons.

5. Theo Sharpe

He works at the print shop as a printer. Eloise and he end up sneaking around on her quest to discover who Lady Whistledown is. He is the author of a feminist journal and he exposes Eloise to the meetings to fight for women's rights.

We don't have photos of Theo on the series just yet, but he will be portrayed by Calam Lynch.

6. Tessa

In art class, Benedict Bridgerton meets Tessa. She originally was just seen as the model who was being drawn, but we find out she does it to get art school experience. At the time, women were not allowed to go to art school so she does this to learn as best she can. She and Benedict end up being attracted to one another and she reveals that she knows that Anthony paid for his art school entry.

7. Edmund Bridgerton

He is the Bridgerton father who died. In the show, we saw his story and how it impacted the family — but, specifically how it impacted the way the mother and Anthony. This role will be portrayed by he will be portrayed by Rupert Evans.

8. Lord Featherington

After the passing of Lord Featherington, the Featheringtons' were waiting around for the new Lord Featherington to take over. While he seems like a nice guy at the beginning — and he does do his best to take care of the family — we end up seeing that he's riddled with secrets.

In the end, he and Lady Featherington come up with a scheme of which he ends up having to leave town after everyone finds out (and she seems to get off scot free).
