And with an excellent question comes an even more excellent answer: His best friend is his cat, whose name is Merlin, which — let's be honest — checks out.

As a proud cat mom myself, I find very few things more relatable than freely admitting to the entire world that your best friend is your cat.

But easily the best part of the clip was when he admitted that sometimes, Merlin will hop into bed and "hug" him, and he'll mistake the cat for his wife — which is an objectively hilarious visual.
