"I felt so embarrassed and so just completely out of element."
Jessica Chastain has a long list of things she'd rather do than sing on camera!

Despite having several upcoming films where she'll be showing off her vocal chops, Jessica says it's not something she enjoys.

"I would rather do full nudity than sing a song," Jessica joked during a recent appearance on The Late Late Show.
After host James Corden complimented her vocals in her new movie The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Jessica explained that singing doesn't come naturally to her.
"I felt so embarrassed and so just completely out of element and out of my comfort zone... It's just beyond anything I've ever been comfortable with," Jessica admitted of working on the movie.

Meanwhile, Jessica is also in the midst of filming another musical project where she will play country music singer-songwriter Tammy Wynette.

"It's amazing, but I'm drinking a lot of bourbon — I'm not gonna lie. There's a lot to get over my nerves," Jessica shared.

Thankfully, she's had the help of a vocal coach she's been working with since March — but with 30 songs to master it's definitely "no joke!"
