The actors, who first met on the set of 2001's Oceans 11 and costarred in Money Monster 15 years later, occasionally put their sweet friendship on display at award shows or red carpet events.

But we'd never found ourselves on the receiving end of collaborative antics from Julia and George until yesterday, when they surprised viewers watching Jimmy Kimmel Live! with an unexpected joint appearance.

George was originally scheduled to appear virtually on the late-night show alongside 10-year-old actor Daniel Ranieri, whom George cast in his new film, The Tender Bar, after the youngster's viral video about public health landed him an onscreen chat with Jimmy last year.

It was Julia, wearing dark shades and a straight face while casually rolling into George's frame.
"Oh my goodness, wow," Jimmy exclaimed, as the studio audience erupted in cheers. "Holy moly."
"George, I don't know if you're aware of this, but there's a woman sitting next to you," the host went on. Julia and George, both silent, maintained respectively blank expressions until she disappeared.
"Maybe I hallucinated that," Jimmy suggested after Julia's exit. "It looked like Julia Roberts though."
Julia and George are currently filming Ticket to Paradise, a romantic comedy that's set to premiere in October of next year.
