Magnolia Pictures / ©Magnolia Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection

4. Drop Dead Fred (1991)
New Line Cinema / ©New Line Cinema/Courtesy Everett Collection
"An underrated classic that kids really shouldn't have watched, but we all did anyway. It has all the great elements — it was funny, irreverent, heartwarming, and it encouraged children to enjoy their childhood."
5. Pumpkin (2002)

"It came out in the early '00s and stars Christina Ricci as a sheltered sorority girl. It's SO good, darkly funny, and still makes me emotional. Seriously, see it!"
6. Oscar (1991)

"Sylvester Stallone played a mob boss trying to go straight because of a promise to his father on his death bed, and then hilarity ensued! It also has Tim Curry and Marisa Tomei."

10. Joe Versus the Volcano (1990)
Warner Bros / ©Warner Bros/Courtesy Everett Collection
"Tom Hanks’ best movie, and the first time he appeared onscreen with Meg Ryan! An absolute gem that gets ignored."

"No one ever knows what I'm talking about when I bring it up. It's so good! Michael Showalter, Michelle Williams, Elizabeth Banks, Peter Dinklage, Justin Theroux, Michael Ian Black, Paul Rudd, and so many more. It's about a guy who gets left at the altar. LOVE IT!"
15. Bernie (2012)

18. French Kiss (1995)

"It stars Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline. It was filmed in the '90s when Meg was America's sweetheart. So cute and fun. No one ever talks about it, and — every time I bring it up — no one knows what the hell I'm talking about."
19. Earth Girls Are Easy (1988)
Vestron Pictures / ©Vestron Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection
"I definitely feel like the only person who’s seen this. It's one of Jim Carrey’s earliest movies with an incredible cast, catchy as hell songs, and is a beautiful homage to '50s sci-fi with plenty of '80s campiness."
20. Tremors (1990)
Universal / ©Universal/Courtesy Everett Collection
"Kevin Bacon and Reba! I introduce everyone I meet to it. It’s got amazing one-liners and the right amount of '50s monster movie magic."
21. Baby Boom (1987)
United Artists / ©United Artists/Courtesy Everett Collection
"Anyone remember this?! With Diane Keaton? I watched it on repeat back in the day, and my husband (we’re the same age) has never heard of it."
22. Indecent Proposal (1993)
Paramount / ©Paramount/Courtesy Everett Collection
"I love, love, LOVE this movie, but almost no one has heard of it. Demi Moore, Robert Redford, and Woody Harrelson. I love the casting, the chemistry, the story, the fashion of that period...so good and so heartbreaking!"
23. Rushmore (1998)
Walt Disney Co. / ©Walt Disney Co./Courtesy Everett Collection
"It's one of my favorite movies. I think it’s Wes Anderson’s second film? Jason Schwartzman played a private school student who became friends with Bill Murray, who played a depressed business owner — until they both fall for the same woman. Then, their retaliation against each other keeps escalating until it gets completely out of hand. It’s less twee than Anderson’s other movies."
24. Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995)
Sony Pictures / ©Sony Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection
"That movie was so weird, but, as a young teen, I loved it."
25. Heart and Souls (1993)
Mca / ©MCA/Courtesy Everett Collection
"I feel like I’m the only person left who remembers that movie. It was the movie where I first fell in love with Robert Downey Jr. Such a sweet story and perfect cast. GO WATCH IT!"
26. Blowdry (2001)
Miramax / ©Miramax/courtesy Everett / Everett Collection
"Alan Rickman, Natasha Richardson, Josh Hartnett, Rachael Leigh Cook, and Bill Nighy. It's about a barber in Northern England who enters a hairstyling competition with his son and ex-wife. Hilarity and heart ensued. A must-see for Alan Rickman fans, or anyone who likes dramedies with a random Heidi Klum appearance."
27. And finally: The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982)
Universal / ©Universal/Courtesy Everett Collection
"Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds in all their ‘80s glory, and Dolly singing her original version of 'I Will Always Love You' is just perfection."
