Now we just need Paramore to cover "Part of Your World."
If you're on TikTok — and the algorithm knows you love Disney — then you might have seen the work of Hollyfae_Art. Holly does all kinds of incredible original artwork, but every once in a while she'll also do a Disney mashup. For example, she did Disney Princesses with more realistic faces a couple of years ago:

There's her realistic version of Ariel on the right, which def looks to me how Ariel would look IRL.
Well, Holly is BACK with more Disney art, and this time, we're kicking it back to the '00s with emo Disney Princesses.
Holly started with Ariel, first updating her hairstyle...
Then, of course, she needs an outfit straight outta Hot Topic...
A couple of piercings, naturally...
And voilà! Emo Ariel is born. I especially love the purple seashell hair clip as a nod to her original outfit.
Next up was Belle, who was lifted out of 1700s France and dropped right into the beginning of the 2000s.
Any emo Disney Princess needs swoop bangs to start...
Some emo-style makeup details, like this little heart...
I ADORE this detail on her shirt, referencing the Beast's rose...
Add a choker and a headband, and you have emo Belle!
The third emo princess Holly has done (thus far, at least!) is Jasmine, and she might be my favorite.
Naturally, her outfit goes from blue to black, and yes, there are fishnets involved...
Once again, the Hot Topic influence...
Some extra eyeliner, maybe a little smokey eye...
A little undercut hairstyle, and boom! Emo Jasmine.

The lamp necklace is an especially nice touch.
