These profiles will get you buzzing harder.

Yellowjackets isn't your usual teenage thriller TV series. It's a psychological horror loosely based on William Golding's highly acclaimed book Lord of the Flies that also serves as a brutal coming-of-age story.

The main protagonists of the show are a bunch of survivors of a plane crash who form the core of a youth American female soccer team called Yellowjackets. The show follows two parallel storylines: the struggle of the girls to survive in a remote forest and the tumult that the horrific events buried in that forest are now causing in the middle-aged survivors' lives.
